As with all in the Lunar/Zodiac series, Snake represents the 2013 vintage of the classic flag-ship ripe, 7581. It was a watershed year for Zhongcha in terms of marketing and overall aesthetic draw. More care was dedicated not only to the artistry of wrappers, but also more attention to details like cake appearance, two-layer wrapping, and quite possibly material contributed. Among the first-run of the lunar series, which depending upon whom you ask began in ’07 or ’12, the Snake has appreciated most considerably. Its dense richness, sweetness, petrichor and camphor-cooling satiates like chocolate cake. A fine dessert experience that can be enjoyed anytime.
