Fruity, floral, and cocoa nose. Good sweetness and balanced astringency. Strawberry top, raisin, milk chocolate middle, berry and rose finish. Rich texture, medium-heavy viscosity. Huigan is quick, sweet, and of dried currants, hints of rose with classic Menghai bitterness. Salivation comes in two stages: immediately and about five minutes on. In between there’s activating astringency and fruit acid sourness. Aftertaste has decent stamina, reaching the throat. The qi is very strong, heady and upper body, without being abrasive. Pushes well, durable. Overall, conveys fruity red wine personality. Dense compression. Crafted by Mme Zhang Jian-li one of the Five Golden Flowers of Menghai TF, Xinghai TF. Stored in LA since Nov ’20.
