’07 HK Returns ZC

Intense dense sweetness and huigan. HK Returns Cake, originally acquired in ’16, has evolved from a Tobacco Class production into a complex wonder squarely residing in the Fruit Class.  The aroma started out possessing a fruit-cured pipe tobacco nose, translating little into the broth.  Over time, sweetness and fruit have become the prevailing themes. The fruit is of Bing cherry, dark plum, and dried strawberry.  The texture, depth, and aftertaste have enhanced greatly, reflective of traditional processing.  The qi is uplifting.  The character and quality reflects a certain spirit of Kunming TF house style.  First acquired in April of ’16 (time of fotos), the second procurement in Los Angeles since Feb ’21.
