Glassy smooth, no astringency, but there’s a buzzing effect throughout mouth and cheeks. Starts to intensify considerably by fourth infusion: more rock sugary sweetness. Next level Mouth activation with salivation and dryness at the same time, reaches throat. Qi kicks in, heady. Wooziness afoot and warming in belly. Long lasting and powerful. Tea sweats. Performs best in silver and earthen cup followed by glass then porcelain. Porcelain smooths over some of the dynamism from the zisha and silver. Lincang Xigui autumn, hand-rolled, material. Pinched not plucked leaves, one or two “horse hooves” per pearl. Square chop. Stored since Jun ’15.
