Grenouille melds crisp apple with sultry oud. Huigan lasts two lifetimes. Nose: sweet apple, pumello zest, creamy camphor, and wet-humidity translating to initial infusion of strong scorched sugar note. Tight-compression tuo requires pacing to to open fully, about 15 minute-gap from one round to the next for the first 3 rounds. Full on offers liqueur experience with incense and fruit. Moderate astringency with a predominating toasted note. Wuliang material from Haixintang. Stored since Jun ’20.
