The ’07 Mushroom Tuo is characterized by a “mushroominess” without the basement dank. In fact, there is zero hint of dank. Rather, smoke and kerosene accompany masterful fermentation to offer a smoky, sweet, wood sappy complexity not dissimilar to whiskey.
As of ’18, this puerh tuo has been dry-stored in Kunming. However, storage conditions are irreproachable, very Goldilocks.
